The Drug Supply in 2023: Facts and Fears about Xylazine and Fentanyl

MAT as the Standard of Care is a webinar series aimed to assist clinicians in meeting their training requirements for the Bridge Navigator Program and provide support for healthcare providers who are new to prescribing Buprenorphine or who are interested in expanding their understanding of the MAT landscape.
In addition, with dynamic changes in the illicit drug landscape in our state including the continued rise of fentanyl and carfentanil in our communities, as well as contaminants like xylazine, those clinicians previously prescribing buprenorphine have expressed hesitation as they question their knowledge of buprenorphine dosing in the context of the evolving street drug supply.
