X-Waiver Training

An X-Waiver is the DEA-issued number that permits physicians, nurse practitioners, and
physician assistants to treat patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) with buprenorphine, which
is a highly effective medication to help our patients with OUD reduce or eliminate their opioid
use, improve their health, and reduce the risk of opioid overdose.
Attend full training live followed by online survey, or do
half live and AFTER THE LIVE TRAINING, complete additional online training / quiz through the
link sent by AAAP. All trainings are free.
